My
husband Bob and I visit Mexico
Meet Pat Chrysler
I was born in
Calgary Alberta and moved to Minnesota in 1963. I became a citizen a year
before I got married.
My husband
and I worked full-time, went to college in the evening and had two children
(Tom and Alex--3 years apart) over a ten-year period. That resulted in an
accounting degree from University of Minnesota, and I worked in finance for
years. In Minnesota, I worked at both a CPA firm and was an accounting manager
for a local company.
In 1990 my
husband, Bob, took a promotion within Dow Chemical, and we moved to
Cincinnati. I took a job with them also. Eventually my division was
downsized. My severance package included an excellent outplacement service that
provided a battery of aptitude tests. I scored off the chart on
sales--accounting was clearly not the ONLY choice of careers for me!
Another
benefit of my separation package was that I received six months severance pay
that allowed me the financial freedom to establish myself in a 100% commission
career. In 1993 I entered the real estate world and haven't looked back
once! My dad used to say that every cloud has a silver lining. I have never
forgotten that. It is my motto in life. Everything can be turned into a
positive direction. That is also my philosophy in real estate.
Because of
my diverse experience in both education and business, as well as my
personal experience with both relocating from one country to another plus
relocating within the States, I am well equipped to access a client's needs
based on their situation. I not only listen well and empathize with their
desires, but I also bring my experience to bear to work well within the
parameters of a client's situation and needs.
My
philosophy is, "People never make bad decisions. They make the best
decision based on the information they have at the time. If it doesn't work
out, most often they were missing an important piece of information at the
point of decision-making. My job is to make sure my clients have all the
important pieces." Each and every client receives personalized attention, both
before and after the sale. I'm here when my customers need me!
